Bookable Privacy Policy

Bookable is a private career tracker for voice actors. The app is designed to store your professional records locally on your device. It does not require an account, does not provide social networking features, and does not operate a backend for your app data.

Who We Are

What the App Stores

Bookable lets you enter information such as appointments, auditions, applications, contacts, credits, payments, follow-up dates, notes, private reflections, links, currencies, invoice details and AI or usage clause checks.

This information is stored locally on your device using the platform's local storage technology, such as SwiftData on iOS and a local SQLite database on Android.

What We Collect

We do not collect, receive, view, sell or share the career data you enter into Bookable. The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, account systems or cloud sync operated by Bookable.

User-Initiated Export and Sharing

Bookable includes CSV export and import features so you can back up or restore your own records. Exports happen only when you choose to create them. On supported devices, export is protected by biometric or device authentication before the file is created.

Once you export, share, email, upload, print or store a CSV file outside Bookable, that copy is controlled by the destination you choose. Protect exported files carefully because they may contain private career information.

Backups and Device Services

Your operating system may include device backups, file sharing, app restore, Siri, Shortcuts, notifications, watch connectivity or other system services. Those services are provided by Apple, Google or your device manufacturer, not by Bookable. You can manage them in your device settings.

Notifications, Siri and Watch

If you enable reminders or notifications, Bookable may schedule local notifications on your device for appointments, follow-ups or backups. Siri, App Shortcuts and Apple Watch features use local app data to answer your request or show relevant reminders. Bookable does not send your career records to a Bookable server for these features.

Website Privacy

This website does not use cookies, advertising pixels, newsletter forms or analytics scripts. Your website hosting provider may process standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, request time and requested page for security and operations. Those logs are not used by Bookable for advertising or tracking.

Links

Bookable may store links you enter, and this website may link to app stores or other external pages. External websites and services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your app data remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, uninstall the app, erase the device or restore a different backup. Deleting records inside the app removes them from the local app database, subject to normal operating system storage and backup behavior.

Security

Bookable is designed to minimize privacy risk by keeping app data local and by avoiding accounts, advertising and analytics. You should still protect your device with a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID or the Android equivalent, and keep any exported CSV files in a secure place.

Children

Bookable is a professional productivity app and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International Use

Bookable can be used in different countries and currencies. Because the app does not operate cloud sync or a backend for app data, the career records you enter are not transferred to Bookable servers.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when Bookable changes. If future versions add optional online services, the policy will be updated before those services are offered.
